Are you ready to create with other artists? I am for sure! For that reason, I’m offering a class in my studio for those who would love to join me and other artists!
This class will be on Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. in my home studio in Paris, TX. Class space is very limited, so it’s first come, first serve. Class begins on February 2, 2022.
What will we be doing? I’m glad you asked. This class will be with colored pencil as the medium. You may choose your own photo reference or drawing you would like to create in colored pencil. I will be “coaching” you in how to achieve your subject matter in colored pencil. There are many techniques and surfaces you can use to create the piece you desire. I am willing to teach you all that I have learned about this medium! I will show you the options available and you may choose which option you would like to try. Colored pencil is so much fun and you can add other mediums with it to make it even more fun, such as PanPastels, Neocolors II, Inktense Pencils and Paint Pans, and more. The other good thing is I continue to learn and grow my skills in colored pencil and try new things myself. As I learn, I’m more than happy to share that information with you during our class sessions.
If you’ve never learned how to use colored pencils, no worries, because I have a Beginner’s Tutorial you can go through to learn the basics and you can continue to grow from there.
The thing I’m most excited about is being with other artists, creating again! The last two years have been so hard for all of us, but it’s time to create again together!
Each session will be two hours long, and the cost is $25 per session. This price does not include supplies. You will have a supply list to purchase on your own, depending on the technique you choose. I may have some supplies available for an additional supply fee.
Again, I’ve scheduled this on Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. I’m only taking clients who desire to commit to this on a weekly basis.
